    January 24, 2020 Local 3631 Members: Last night the Orange County Fire Authority JPA Board of Directors held their monthly meeting and one of the items on the Agenda was an update on the transition in the City of Placentia from the OCFA to the creation of their own Placentia Fire Department that is scheduled to take place on July 1, 2020.

    Placentia City Leaders Vote to Decimate Fire and Emergency Medical Services by Privatizing EMS and end 23-year Partnership with the Orange County Fire Authority will Jeopardize the Safety of Placentia Residents. On Tuesday, June 4th, the Placentia City Council voted 3 to 1 in support of a reckless plan to completely overhaul Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for the residents of their City.
